Associate Pastor/Counseling

In the fall of 1996, Ben joined our staff as a 90-Day Consultant and the church hasn't been able to get rid of him yet! Ben serves our congregation by planning and coordinating classes, workshops and events to strengthen marriages and families in our church and community. Ben is also a Licensed Professional Counselor and provides confidential counseling sessions on a sliding scale fee basis. He is a grad of East Texas Baptist University (go Tigers!) and Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth.

Ben is a hopeless romantic, a very bad (but addicted) golfer and a fan of football, basketball, and good movies. His main passion is his partner in life, Tammy. She and Ben have four great kids and have recently welcomed a granddaughter into the family.
