Bruce came to First Baptist of Midlothian in April of 2003. He and his wife, Kelly, are graduates of Baylor University and have two sons, David & Brady. Kelly is a former social worker and teaches third graders here in Midlothian.

Bruce has deep roots in student ministry, working with university students at Texas A&M university and investing in student missions trainings for over two decades.  Innovating and retooling the church has been his passion for almost 20 years.

 

An avid fisherman and beach bum, Bruce loves the outdoors.  Long ago he discovered that his heart was most often refreshed in the solitude of beautiful lakes and streams.  To this day, he is definitely a caffeinated "morning person" and spends those early hours with his coffee, newspaper and Bible.

 

Ask him about his heart, though, and he'll readily admit that he is addicted to seeing peoples lives change. And seeing lives change is what our church is all about.
