SERVING OUR COMMUNITY
"If you feed those who are hungry and take care of the needs of those who are troubled then your light will shine in the darkness and you will be bright like sunshine at noon."

Serving Midlothian booklet.
This local mission opportunity booklet was compiled to serve several purposes. Our community is full of people with diverse needs. Oftentimes, we drive the same routes, live in the same neighborhood for many years, interact with people within our spheres of influence, and simply are unaware of the needs of people outside of our daily routines. This page is to inform FBC members of local missionaries and ministries currently serving people in our community. All of these missionaries/ministries are receiving financial support from FBC through our annual mission budget; however, FBC only provides a small portion of what is needed for these ministries to succeed. Listed under each local mission partner are his/her specific needs and ways FBC members can help.
We hope this page will encourage ABFs, home groups, youth groups, children’s groups, or individuals to connect with and serve alongside a local mission partner, in order to reach the unchurched and diverse people living in our community, who do not know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. This list may be printed as a booklet using the link below and will hopfully be a catalyst for groups or individuals within the FBC family to go beyond fellowship and Bible study, and begin intentionally and consistently serving our neighbors.
